O.K. Those are the "facts".... Pared down and even kind of dry. But if you'll bear with us while we indulge in a bit of "philosophy," we'll let you know what we think makes WESTVIEW FARMS Perennials & Herbs unique, worthy of a visit, and why we can say "OUR PLANTS GROW."
Please follow our 2016 activities at the 8th Street Market Place on line:

WESTVIEW 's News!
Last season Lee Ver Schure hosted and spoke at the Holland Horticulture Club in May to a wonderful group of gardeners!
EDIBLES !!! was the subject in May at the nursery here at Westview Farms.
Participants learned all about this ‘Green’ trend in landscaping as member/speaker - our own Lee Ver Schure – introduced and highlighted an array of fascinating “dual purpose”, “ornamental edible” plants and shared various tips on their placement and culture.
And added for your information:
The DeGraaf Nature Center is the regular winter gathering place for the horticulture club. It is a great place to visit to see birds, wildflowers, and other fauna. The DeGraaf Nature Center is "just up the road" from our nursery at 600 Graafschap Road on Holland's south side. The center offers many fascinating programs throughout the year. Visit DeGraff Nature Center virtually at www.degraaf.org/ and then do the actual visit soon.
We are proud that Lee Ver Schure of WESTVIEW FARMS, LLC is serving on the Horticultural Advisory Board of Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park in Grand Rapids, Michigan. It is an exciting season for the Gardens as the new Japanese Garden is open!
Check it out! Visit!
Lee also served as President of the Board of Directors of the West Michigan Nursery and Landscape Association in 2006 - 2007.
DID YOU KNOW
that, when you spend $100 at a local business, $73 stays in the community, as opposed to only $43 if you shop a national chain? WESTVIEW FARMS, LLC encourages and thanks you for patronizing and supporting quality privately owned and family run area businesses like ours!
